Waste Prevention Community Grant

We are proud to have been awarded a Waste Prevention Community Grant by Hampshire County Council. The grant has been awarded for us to reduce the amount of school clothing that is thrown away. We hope to be able to reuse and recycle school uniform. Currently we have a lot of uniform that is ready for children to use. All donations for the uniform are put back into school funds to make sure that this is sustainable and keeps uniform costs low for all our families.

We have purchased a new uniform shed where we can store the uniform for parents to access in all weathers. This is situated on the playground and is easy to access.

We will also be looking for more volunteers to help staff this, so please pop into the office if you are able to help.

We know how expensive uniform can be. Our uniform is practical and ready for action. We come into school ready to do PE so save lots of time for PE instead of changing. We love saving our families money. Please look in our uniform shed for pre loved uniform. Every item is washed and ready to wear for only £1 an item.
