Tobias Suddaby, Aged 5

As a school we were saddened to hear of the sudden death at New Year of one of our Year R children, due to meningitis. He was a well-loved, popular and funny member of our school community and will be missed by everyone who knew him.

Our thoughts are with Tobias’ family and friends at this time. They have asked us to let you know that 6 of his organs have gone to help other children and save their lives. He really was a super hero.

With the support of Tobias’ family, we want to remember Tobias in school with a more permanent play feature and feel that now is the time to start to think of how this may look, in consultation with our playground designers and our children. We really enjoyed our superhero day to raise money for the playground. The plans are still in the early stages and will depend on the money we can raise towards the work.
